The ATV cranks but will not fire

The starter turns the engine. It does not catch, or it catches and dies.

Worth noting before you call

• Does it crank at a normal speed, or is the battery just barely turning it?
• Is the fuel fresh, and does the machine have a petcock or a shutoff that was left closed?
• Any recent tip-over, a wet plug, or someone already into the carb?
• Does it pop, backfire, or stay completely silent while cranking?

Cranking with no fire can be fuel or spark. We do not name the part from a text. Call, or ask about an on-site look if it died where it sits.
