The mower stalls after it warms up

It starts cold, cuts for a while, then stalls. It may restart after it cools.

Worth noting before you call

• Does it die at idle, under the deck load, or both?
• Does loosening the gas cap change anything? Do not mow that way. Just note it.
• How old is the gas, and did this start after storage?
• Any new smoke once it is hot?

Hot stall has more than one cause. We test it on the mower. We do not quote a coil or a carb from the driveway.
